I currently bought the new Windows XP and tried to install it on multiple computers thinking it would work properly. Since ive done that, (after 30 days i believe), now all but the main computer arent allowing me to login. The computer considered the primary computer isnt the one I want it on. How do I get the license released to put it on another computer? or is this what I have to do?

all help MUCH, MUCH appreciated

Well,

1.) You shouldn't be putting one license on multiple machines. That violates the terms and conditions of Microsoft.

2.) You will have to register / confirm the CD key and most likely have to call Microsoft to have them unlock it from the server. The other machines that you install it on will stop working in 30 days (as you have seen)

What I would do if I were you is get multiple CD keys. Look for a 3CD combo or something from Microsoft. Corporate keys work well too.

Good luck,

you'll have to uninstall it from the primary computer and call microsoft support and ask them to release it.
