I want an extra layer of security for my passwords, and seeing that keyloggers nowadays are able to record coordinates of mouse clicks the normal on-screen keyboard is not that useful for security (however when using it i tend to move it around the screen every different number of inputs grabbing the window at different lengths of the keyboard each time).

Anyways, my question is, is there any safe site online where I can actually download an on-screen keyboard which randomizes its key locations each time an input is made?

MapKeyboard

enables you to remap your keyboard and alter any key to function as a different one or optionally disable it as well. The program can be quite useful for laptop users and people with keyboards that differ from the standard 101 keyboard layout. Once you have saved changes, the modified keys are clearly marked and the changes are applied after reboot. You can also reset all your key mappings to the default layout. Standalone, no install needed.

Freeware.

Also;

Neo`s SafeKeys is a secure on-screen keyboard that provides 100% protection from keystroke loggers, clipboard monitors and screen capture tools that may attempt to steal your online passwords. The program completely bypasses your keyboard and allows you to type your password with mouse clicks or mouse hovering into a secure input field from where you can drag and drop the password into the login box. Neo`s SafeKeys uses a variety of security features to protect you from a wide range of password stealing techniques...etc.

Note that 'screen capture' mechanisms can also be 'attached' to keylogging utilities, so alternate keyboards are not 100% effective.

Sounds like there was damage done to the windows drivers. Insert the windows XP disk and select R for the repair function. If will inform you that only the windows files will be fixed or repaired and you follow the instructions and you should have some luck. If it makes it to the windows XP startup screen then there is no hardware damge. It is a software issue.
