1. Insert a table at the bottom of the page. Use something like 1 row and 20 columns.

2. Select the table cells, right-click, then select Text Direction... from the menu.

3. In the Text Direction - Table Cell dialog box, select the vertical text direction (left or right facing) that you prefer.

4. Enter your phone number in each cell. Note: As a shortcut, you can enter your number in the first table cell, then select the cell, select Copy (Ctrl + C), then select the remaining cells and select Paste (Ctrl + V).

there are two ways i tryed

1) Try word art there chose simple style there you can turn anything you typed as vertical or horizontal and place anywhere you like

2) Another is type the phone number in paint using text. Then cut just the number portion using rectangle select tool and paste it in your word doc/ advertisement. but the number will be still in horizontal position just select it there will be a green button to appear you can screw the number image to vertical position. Copy this vertically placed number image it will come side by side just like you wanted

hope i could help

To make text vertical it is best to work in table environment. You can always remove borders if you don't want it to look like a table. Then the text you want to align vertically, highlight the cell/s,right button of mouse down to text direction and you have text up or text down.

Insert a text box at the bottom, and right click to select the text direction. Voila`~
