i have a plan to edit my mw2 and black ops clips and im looking for some good programs to edit my vidoes...the only program that i have now is Adobe After Effects CS5 and i heard alot about Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 and i think it's kind of different from what i have and i want to know how is it diff.
what does each program do?

Premiere and After Edffects share a lot of features (just as Photoshop and Illustrator do) but the real difference is what their main function is.
Premiere is an editor, that is it's main use is to put together individual file clips to make a video.
After Effects is a compositor, that is, it's main use is to add special or layering effects to individual clips.
For smaller projects it doesn't matter what you use, but for more complex ones then you'll find the benefit of having both invaluable.

Actually Adobe Premiere is actually not like After effects. It's a more advanced Sony Vegas.

Adobe Premiere is for normal editing and it is for time line editing.
