what happenes when i pause a torrent that is downloading and shutdown my computer and when i turn my computer on and start utorrent, will it resume?

Yes when you turn on your computer again and open Utorrent it should Resume where it left off.

I do not believe so. Why would you flip the pc off even as you're downloading some thing? If my laptop acts up throughout a down load and shuts down, i have needed to the down load over. If you are utilising dial-up (and that's why it is going to take see you later), be certain to shut all different applications and turn off your screen saver. Good luck!
