You might have seen my other question but I still don't have a working calendar. Ever since I got windows7 I've been missing the awesome sidebar and the free calendar. I've been looking for a replacement but I haven't found one at all that works, every one that I've tried doesn't give me a reminder at all, I set and save the reminder, but than it doesn't pop up when I close the program. I tried several suggested calendar programs from other questions, and I've gone through downloads.com calendar programs and still no luck. Vueminder reminders don't work, evolution isn't even a calendar, google calendar seems to work, but I need desktop popup reminders, and Gminder doesn't sync right or something cause it doesn't see Google calendar events thus no popup reminder from Gminder, and no Windows live mail because I need desktop popup reminders.

So that's my other question how do I get Gminder to correctly sync and see my events I create on Google calendar? My email address and password is all setup but it's not getting the newly created event on Google calendar.

Since most calendars just don't work, maybe it's a Windows7 thing? How do I get W7 to work w/ calendar programs?

So I need a free calendar program that ACTUALLY works. I reallllly need one, thanks.

I've been using zCalendar since Vista, and find it works really well.  Download it from http://gallery.live.com/LiveItemDetail.aspx?li=403cf920-a600-4985-b85a-abac41a67c61

i prefer to recommend VueMinder Calendar Lite (unfastened). once you shut this methodology, that's going to shrink to the activity tray and reminders will nonetheless popup while due. There additionally are lots of strategies for the reminders. they are in a place to play an MP3, popup in a window, or fade into the decrease-suitable nook. that's an extremely slick equipment - far greater ideal than something i've got stumbled on. so a techniques, i've got not encountered any issues of reminders no longer appearing while anticipated.

If all the things you mentioned aren't working, have you ever stopped to consider that maybe your computer is FUBAR? Try reinstalling Windows, or set your system clock to the correct date and year.
