Your problem is not that you need to convert it for usage on another computer... you have to finalized your video in Windows Movie Maker first by Publishing it.

The reason you can't play a WMM (Windows Movie Maker) Project on any computer but your own, is because that is where the source files contained in your project are located. That is why you have to Publish it first.

To Publish your video in WMM, make sure the movie is in the program, then:

> Click View and Tasks to bring up the task pane

> Under Edit, click Publish to ----- this computer

> Name the video and select a destination to save it to (desktop is best for easier access/preview after publishing...move it later)

> Click Next

> Select: Best quality playback on my computer (recommended)

> Click Publish

When the video is published, locate from wherever you saved it to. Click on it and it should open in your default media player. If it plays, then it has been finalized. Now you can play it on a media player, email it, upload it or burn it to CD/DVD.

You can even copy it to your Jump/Flash drive to take and use on another computer, like the one at your school. Just remember... the final step in creating a video with WMM (Vista or XP) is to Publish it.

You should scan your registry to find out the reasons! Because most computer problems are born in a part of your system which hardly anyone knows or understands - the registry. This is the central database of Windows, which actually stores some of your computer's most important files and settings. Everything from your latest emails to your desktop wallpaper are kept in this database, making it one of the most used parts of the Windows system.Because it's used so much, the registry database is actually prone to becoming corrupt and damaged, which makes Windows struggle to read the files inside it. Unfortunately, 100's of registry files are corrupted every week and Windows has no way to protect against it - it's this problem which causes most of your computer's problems. The problem is that when these files are corrupted, your PC actually takes longer to read them and often can't read them at all. This causes errors on your PC which seem to appear randomly. You can use a Registry cleaner. http://cleanup-comuter-run-perfectly.com

Registry cleaners are tools which have been created to scan through the registry. They work by scanning each file and then checking to see if it's corrupt or causing problems. If they find that it is broken, the registry cleaner will replace or fix the file for you to make your computer speed up and become free of errors. You should have a try! Good Luck!
