If your hosting is with cpanel, then the file manager in cpanel supports unzipping.

Otherwise I you can use a web based ftp or file manager script

I don't know any software which supports built in unzip, and I don't think there will be one

You can use scripts like nav php (http://navphp.sourceforge.net/) file manager or net2ftp (http://www.net2ftp.com/) a web based ftp client

the latter has also a website which gives you limited ability to use their ftp script without installing it on your own server

ps. each of the scripts I mentioned uses a different method for unzipping

I've had this problem loading zip files to remote websites when there is no unzip in the control panel - I've used php scripts to unzip the files but the permissions can be awkward.

You could contact the person who runs the remote computer

No.

That would need the ftp protocol to include a way to decompress files on the server - and it doesn't.

i take advantage of WinRAR, trouble-free, loose and speedy. basically beginning the countless folders in basic terms works for some downloads. Others could desire to be unzipped. i think of basically beginning it takes up greater advantageous area?
