No. Windows apps do not work on the Mac, under the Mac operating system. HOWEVER, consider getting the Macbook Pro, a new one comes with Leopard, and that includes Bootcamp. With Bootcamp you can partition the drive and install Windows (a legal copy) onto the partition. Then you boot into either Mac or Windows, and you can install all your Windows apps on the Windows partition. That way you have one machine that can run both operating systems.

no because MAC is a different company and Windows is a different company. That is the reason Windows is sold more then MAC

the liberty OS - Linux on the grounds that 2000. It provides me the liberty to choose my answer. each and every time i'd desire to do any documents manipulation or diagnosis, I in basic terms could hotel to the shell instructions (ls, awk, sed, grep, cat, tail, head). On events the place there's somewhat complexity a rapid interest with Perl or a C application. And to assemble the C application I back do not could scout for a $$ compiler to purchase - gcc does the stuff. however Openoffice isn't as solid as Microsoft place of work, it nevertheless is amazingly plenty usable for events while i'd desire to accomplish a little shows for a much broader purpose industry. i exploit fetchmail to get carry of mails for my yahoo, gmail and company bills. The mails are feed to qmail's MTA and dropped at my inbox employing vdelivermail. All my inbound/outbound mails gets processed by employing qmail's SMTP with bogofilter to do the unsolicited mail filtering employing Robinson Fischer set of rules. For my servers there is not any determination. this is all linux with uptimes > twelve months. not greater hardbooting to remedy problems with applications not responding or the server putting. What I pass over is Itunes. yet i exploit Amarok with itunes plugin. Photoshop is something I pass over and that i'm at the instant making issues artwork with GIMP. not greater annoying approximately worms and virus and getting hacked. living house windows is likewise secure yet in basic terms while this is not on the community. however the better section is having the liberty to chosen and personalize as according to your desires and flavor.

No, but i encourage you to get a Mac. You can still run Windows on a Mac if you wish. Visit apple.com and find the program you can use to use Windows. With this, you get the best of both worlds. No viruses with a Mac, and full compatibility with Windows

i dont think it cant..

although some apps such as apple iTunes will work on Windows....but whatever comes with windows xp, will prob not work with MAC OS X

probably because microsoft and apple are like friends and they teamed up with each other.

so microsoft is using some of Apples software to be used on a windows based PC
