I need help on slowing down my burn speed. I Bought a new pack of blank CD's and everytime i burn one using Windows Media Player i just get some retarded error and the cd itself is ruined and my CD burner goes insane. Anyhelp or tips or advice from somebody with same issue is greatly appreciated

there is option to select speed when burning the disk. This would be something like 12x, 24x, 36x...48x. you can select the lower speed depending on the capacity of drive capability or CD capability

The CD-R or CD-RW drive may be encountering buffering errors because of the write speed of the burn. To resolve this issue, select a slower write speed (this is especially effective on USB CD-R and CD-RW drives) by doing the following:



1. In Windows Media Player, on the Tools menu, click Options.



2. In the Options dialog box, on the Devices tab, click the name of the CD-R or CD-RW drive you are using, and then click the Properties button.



3. In the Properties dialog box, on the Recording tab, select a slower write speed.

Just forget burning with Windows Media Player. Problems Problems and more Problems.

No problems anymore when you burn your cd's with Ashampoo Burning STudio.

It is a free and easy to use program. As good or even better than Nero.

Youve copied them interior the incorrect format the cds are superb youve prob copied in mp3 or somthing else they might desire to be in wav format, till you have a newish dvd that performs mp3 vehicle CDS are technically old so which you're able to desire to objective lower back and burn track as a wav format
