First- do not type in all caps. It is not as easy to read and is the equivalent of shouting.

Word 2007 and 2010 include 10 points after each paragraph. There are 72 points per inch so this is approximately the amount of space taken up by one line. You have some choices here: you can eliminate this space on all new documents (this will make your paragraph formatting similar to previous versions of Word), you can press Shift-Enter when you need a new line without the additional space, or you could highlight the area where the additional space is objectionable (such as a list or an address block) and on the Home tab, Styles group, click on the No Spacing style.

To eliminate this spacing permanently, click on the arrow in the bottom right of the Paragraph group on the Home tab. Change the Spacing After to 0 points and click on Set As Default.

while you're applying 07 then under abode tab circulate to Paragraph block and the middle button on the backside says line spacing. A decision under there facilitates you to alter the way it areas.

In your document press "ctrl" and "a" at the same time. Then press "ctrl" and "2" (no "a"). It should fix the double spacing.
