Any recommendations for easy to use slide show software?

I"m looking for an easy to use slide show software/program for my mom... My mom isn't the greatest when when it comes to computers. She enjoy doing photo slide show. The recent slid show was done for her mom's 85th birthday, which included everything from birth to current. the program she currently has is slide show expressions( easy to use for me.) but she can't seem grasp every step from starting, to adding music to burn to a cd/dvd...
I'm looking for recommendations of good and easy slide show software for her to use.
I've heard adobe photo shop elements 8 is good.
i've checked out office depot and best buy, but i'm still not sure which would be a better purchase for her.
