No browser is as good as any of us would like for it to be, They all have issues. IE I could go on and on abt my complaints with it. It is by far the worst ever. Opera is ok but lacks good security. Google is so so. Not much better than IE in my opinion. Safari is ok. Nothing to really brag about. Firefox crashes occasionally, but I love how it is so customizable. The add ons have been really useful, such as Last Pass, Personas, KidZui for my daughter, WOT, and I even have this thing that lets me get comments for myspace without having to go to another site for it. So I stick with FF because the good far outweighs the bad.

Internet Explorer is a bad choice in my opinion, but not for the reasons most people assume. No time to get into that though.

Up until recently I would have suggested Opera, but it has little annoyances with facebook. If you aren't a big facebook user, go Opera.

Firefox is good, it's what I use now. I also have safari. Which is better depends on the person. If you don't like firefox, start using safari. If you don't like it, change back. If you do, stay.

My personal choice at work and at home is a mixture of Opera and Internet Explorer. I need to use IE when I work at home for the SSL VPN server and for some things at work but when I can I use Opera. Page loads don't seem to take up as much CPU as IE and Safari, which is important as my home computer has a very slow CPU and it frequently hits the top end with other browsers. I haven't tried Firefox in a while but last time I did it was still slower than Opera and used more resources.

The best are either firefox or google chrome Firefox has better anti virus and such but google chrome is like an outline of any browser it has nothing fancy not a ton of buttons and easy to use i prefer google chrome but internet explorer is out of the question it is by far the worst browser ever and for safari it isn't very good as well its kinda slow and alot of stuff will not show up on it

safari

good: look and feel of using a mac,

bad: designed for mac, not xp, unstable and slow. (is perfect on mac though)

firefox

good: loads of addons, customizable

bad: firefox 3 has horrible memory management, I've had it reach 1gb memory usage after an hour on youtube. If you choose firefox, try to find firefox 2

google chrome:

good: fast, easy to use

bad: new browser and unstable ( css not great, java applets mess up, same with flash sometimes)

Internet Explorer 8:

good: css problems of IE7 mostly fixed, very responsive

bad: has bad reputation from IE7, nowhere near as customizable as firefox.

I hope this helps
