why do I get error message when have more than 2 windows open in IE?

everytime I have more than 2 windows open in IE and go to close one get error message to report error and have to reopen IE, because IE just shuts down

According to your desciption,there may have some regsitry errors in you PC to cause "windows error".You need to clean you PC.

Possibly a bug, it happens - I'd uninstall IE and install it again, making sure it has all the lates updates - go to http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/Browse.aspx?displaylang=en&categoryid=6



Also make sure you periodically delete all cookies and temp. internet files.
