Daemon tools safe??????

Question

Well my brother wants to download daemon tools to mount a game ISO, and this computer he's using is used by me and my other younger brother. Is daemon tools safe? like will it give you viruses or is it generally a safe product to use. Don't ask me why he wants to mount a game because i really don't care all that much as long as our PC isn't at risk. Thanks!

Daemon Tool is safe to use. What it doesn't make it safe when the user decided downloading or downloaded from location that is NOT verified by Daemon website.



Then the user complaining that the tool is fake and full of craps. But where did they download the file? Is it directly from Daemon official website or some unknown not only the user but also unverified link from Daemon.



The safest way is to download from the original source, not from "unknown, yeah because my friend did this and it's ok and good". But after downloading, did any of them or you did the basic mandatory routine? Did any of you scan the file for viruses?



Did any of you pay for it? Then there's something fishy either from the unknown source or the file.

There is absolutely no risk in using Daemon Tools, I use it all the time, and have never had any problems using it. The only thing about it is that it doesn't support certain image files. Otherwise, its fine.

No . I use Daemon Tools 3.47 . on Xp Working Fine For Gaming Emulation use NO-CD Patches . It Works Fine. Good Software

daemon tools is a very safe piece of software.

just look at the user forums, you can download the source code, etc. any piece of software that is open as this, always is extremely safe. I have had zero problems with the piece of software.

If you do have a problem the user forums are there to solve the problem

Nope. No Risk. I use it myself. Just make sure u read through the installation process because it asks if you want to install a daemon tool search bar which is completely useless Simply uncheck the box. Other than that its safe.
