Your software have installed sucscessfully. go to the installation folder and find the aplication of c/c++.
Right click on the icon and click send and the click desktop.
If it is not it seems your software may be crashed. So Download another IDE for run C and c++ program. Code:block is a good IDE ever. You can download it.

which compiler or editor are you installing? If you are installing cygwin or mingw then you probably want a cmd.exe terminal which runs a bat file on startup. Check the documentation for both compilers. For an IDE like Visual Studio or even Code::Blocks find the folder it's in using Windows Explorer right click on the executable, choose create shortcut, and move the shortcut to the desktop.

Ok...... but which compiler have you used
how and where did you install it..
If it is Turbo C . you might have probably installed it in C :\ Program Files\Turboc..\bin\tc
or \ tcc
You double click on tc or tcc editors.....and this opens a promt .press ctl+enter to maximise the screen.....
If you have no idea about where you've installed it......
use search option and find file named "tc" or"tc.exe"....
In the search results ---double click it
