A quick Google search brought up this: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=811811

as an FYI, you should always check compatibility before buying a new piece of hardware, just to be sure you can actually use it. Some vendors don't release official Linux drivers and the OSS community won't always have a readily-available open source driver. Printers are notorious for this.

Try going through some of the Ubuntu forums. Many times people will post issues like this and be referred to a generic driver that works with their specific hardware.

Disk probably wouldn't help anyways, check the forums. Looks like it should work.
