There is some sort of problem that happened with the card from my camera, when I try to delete one of the files it says (error code -35). All that is left on the card are several files that are labeled with jpeg but they wont open, when I try to open them it says, the operation can't be opened (error code -43). So I thought that if I couldn't delete the files I would delete the folder with the files in them. I was able to delete the folder and when I went to go to secure delete it in the trash it said "The Finder can’t complete the operation because some data in "" can’t be read or written. (Error code -36)". When I left the folder that I deleted in the trash and ejected the card the trash disappeared, I didn't delete it and I don't know where it went, so I put the card back in the computer and the trash item reappeared. All I want to do is to use my card in my camera. If there is no way to fix this problem I will have lost an 8 GB card.

Never delete files from a camera using the computer. The card is now corrupted. You can rejuvenate it by formatting the card in your camera (not the computer). In the future, only erase the card using thae camera's format feature. If there are still photos on your card that you need to recover, see the following:

When was the last time you formatted the card? Your card needs formatting using your cameras formatting feature from time to time. Do NOT use the formatting feature on your Mac. That will ruin it

Why don't you just use your camera to reformat the SD card?
