Question:
I'm beating a dead horse with Ubuntu questions...?

Okay, I've been asking Ubuntu questions for a few days now. Here is the background info...

Ubuntu 9.04 Remix - Dell Mini 9

I picked it up for $65 (long story, company discount thing...anyway...) I bought it solely for emulators, SNES, NES, GBA (how do you install them and where do the roms go), and internet surfing. Maybe some online gaming as long as it's not to demanding on the light weigh hardware. To be totally honest I have no experience with Linux. I've done alot of searching for some guides and so on but I can only find stuff that seems to be geared towards people with previous Linux experience. So, what I'm asking for is either someone giving me a crash course in Ubuntu or some links to that info. I need help installing stuff to Ubuntu, I'm clueless with any type of customization with the appearance or desktop. Anyway to improve performance. I tried to delete the "Favorites" tab on the sidebar and I won't let me, I can't rename anything...just give me some help...please...I've getting really frustrated...but even with the frustration it's still better then Vista :-)

Thanks!

As for installing software, you really don't have to be scared of the commandline, but if you are, that's not a problem these days. If you use Synaptic, there's only very rarely any need to run anything at the commandline.

the undertaking I see is that God has not given us the components to constantly do solid or counter the undesirable. He makes those with rational minds and then does not provide a rational reason to have self assurance in him. He makes human beings starve, yet does not provide everyone the skill to feed every person in the international. He shall we human beings do despite undesirable issues they choose, yet does not provide the solid human beings the weapons they should combat them. He supplies unfastened will so as that human beings can opt for to be undesirable in the event that they choose, yet what bearing directly to the harmless sufferers in that undertaking? besides, i think of it purely sounded solid. you be conscious of, you are going to burn, burn in hell! hearth and brimstone, eternal soreness, advantageous and powerful. as nicely, i think of there particularly are some monsters available who must be locked up in a burning lake of evil death for-e-ver.
