Instead of breaking your head on flash plugin...just download Opera browser free of cost from opera.com
Install this browser on your system and you will be able to open flash movies/youtube without any problem because this browser has got flash plugin pre-integrated !

Here's how to handle your Adobe Flash Player problems. First you have to get rid of all Adobe Flash Player remnants of partial Adobe installs and Adobe updates that are on your hard drive and in the registry. This is simple to do. Go to the Adobe web site and find their Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller. SAVE the Adobe FP Uninstaller to your desktop! Do not install it from the Adobe web site! Now go to your desktop and install and run the Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller. Now you can close the Adobe web site. Go to the CNET web site. CNET is a safe and reliable web site for downloading most free software. On the CNET site find the latest Adobe Flash Player. Again, SAVE it to your desktop! Now go to your desktop and install the Adobe Flash Player and you should now be able to view the Youtube video clips, watch movies and download music. Getting rid of the incomplete Adobe installs and updates is the solution to the problem! Hope this information gets the job done for you! Good luck!

Hello,
if your videos are not showing up on facebook or youtube is very likely that you are missing adobe flash player (it can be damaged or simple not properly installed). You should definitely get or update Adobe Flash Player (get one of the latest versions though) and you are very likely to solve your video issues.
You can find it here http://j.mp/1xTHffM
Hope that helps. Cheers.

If using windows:
If using IE7 or IE8, make sure the plugin is enabled, and that you are not using "no Plugin mode"
If using firefox, update to the newest firefox (3.5) it doesn't even need flash to run most videos on the internet
Make sure you are installing it in the browser you want it in. It's very possible that you installed the Firefox/opera version and it won't work in Internet explorer.
in the browser you want go to get,adobe.com/flash/. It should give you the correct file.
