Assuming you're using Word's Table of Contents Field (and you should!), do this:
In versions of Word prior to Word 2007:
1. Click in the Table of Contents.
2. Click the Insert->Reference->Index and Tables menu item.
3. Click the Table of Contents tab.
4. Check the "Right align page numbers" checkbox.
5. Set the Tab Leader list box to ....
6. Click OK.
In Word 2007 and 2010:
1. Click in the Table of Contents.
2. Click the References tab.
3. Click the Table of Contents button at the left and select Insert Table of Contents.
4. Continue as in Step 4, above.
Hope that helps.

Under the reference tab, there is a button "Insert Table of Contents" which makes microsoft word generate an automatic table of contents with perfect dot leaders. The only catch is that you have to go through you document and select the chapter titles and assign them to the "Heading" in the style menu.
Good Luck

There sure is. This is the default layout of the automatic TOC.
In Office 2007 and 2010 go to the References ribbon and you'll find the TOC dropdown on the left. It's fairly obvious how to use it but here's a link to the MS help page for it - http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/word-help/create-a-table-of-contents-HP001225372.aspx and http://support.microsoft.com/kb/285059
If you're using Office 2003 then go to Insert > Reference > Index and Tables > Table of Contents tab. More help at http://office.microsoft.com/en-au/word-help/create-a-table-of-contents-HP005189293.aspx
