I had installed Windows XP and fedora 8 (dual boot ). Initially XP crashed and i tried booting XP, Since there was no free space it failed to boot . So I tried creating free space in fedora using lvm and I crashed Fedora also ( the mount point got dislocated when i tried to free space using resize command ). Now i could not boot from CD because no space is free .. So please tell me a best way to recover my system back . I really need it fixed . I dont know what to do next ..Any relevant answers will be of great help to me . Thank you in advance.

You should scan your computer to find if there are missing, outdated, or corrupted drivers.Outdated hardware drivers can cause a lot of errors and even crash your computer and the infamous "blue screen of death". This can be a very serious problem and your computer might even fail to start Windows. Drivers are vital to a computer system. Without the right drivers, it is going to be impossible to make any device run. However, you don’t need just drivers. You need new and current drivers to make sure that your system would work as designed. The most serious problems that they encounter as they use their computer may be resolved by a simple driver update. The best way to update all of your drivers is to use driver updating software. I should like to commend Driver Robot http://best-way-to-improve-pc-performance.com/update-drive.html to you.

If you want to recover XP data, it is possible by recovering through bootableXP cd, also for the same you need to use the recovery method after EULA (End User License Agreement) which ask you to press f8. It will reinstall the system files, leaving data untouched.

Satisfied, no, reply back.

i could recommend making the 1st partition /boot, the 2d /dwelling house windows, the third swapspace, and the rest / (root). Then set up dwelling house windows onto the dwelling house windows partition. Then set up Fedora. i think of the Fedora installer will immediately detect dwelling house windows and make a grub get entry to for it.
