You need to change the password in outlook also. I am using Gmail in my outlook. Recently i changed pw in gmail and outlook prompts me to change the pw in outlook.

One DOES NOT affect the other. Microsoft Outlook is an email based on your network/intranet you use. Intranet is the ability to access resources like Outlook from your work without being at your work place. If you don't change your password to your Outlook, it won't affect your yahoo mail. You will continue to receive email through your yahoo but not through Outlook. Some people have found the settings to get emails outside of there network but it is almost non-existant that way for most of the world because it is normally used for businesses.
