So i have this stock project and i am almost down with the damn thing (its really been a pain). The only thing that i have left to do is the following and i am not sure how do to it correctly.

The cost basis of the stock that you selected on the correct date
The current quantity of the stock,
The current price of the stock,
The current value of the stock (quantity * price)
Your investment change since your purchase

I have done all of this the only thing i need help with is the following:
Create a chart for each stock that shows the change in value of your investment in that stock

What is the best way to do this correctly? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

I would recommend a column chart with the name of the stock on the x axis and the change in value on the y axis.

So go to Insert on the menu, choose Chart, and go through the wizard to set up all the parameters.

Respectfully, the easiest place to start is obviously the chart wizard... You need to ask yourself two questions; First what data should I use to create this charge, second, what type of chart is best for my data. That is to say, do you want to present a Column, Bar, Pie or Line chart. Or you could choose to make a doughnut or radar chart. You need to give us more information, such as the simple formula to get the result you want (in other words; you do the math)

You'll also need to run the values plotted against the y-axis and divide by the x-axis with the formulas - so the answer is tricky, it is the question that is confusing...

Good luck, resubmit a new (rewritten) question,.
