Microsoft office 2007 Product Key, needed prior to laptop format as i have lost my copy.?

i am trying to format my PC but before i do i checked first to see if i had all my discs, i had a genuine copy of Microsoft Office 2007, which i use all the time, but i can't find the disc and case anymore. is there a way to retrieve the product key for this before i wipe this off my computer? so i can reuse my product key again without having to use the disc?

You have a two part question.

Retrieving the product key is the easy part...

You will how ever need a method of installing office again ie from disc , down load , or activate a trial with your key.



The install instructions are not on your computer to extract or save another medium is needed to install office again , this go's for any installed program ..

The only exception is if a program came pre-installed and the computer is being take back via a Factory restore.
