All I need is Powerpoint, but I can't find a trial of that on its own.

I made the account, and downloaded the trial from Microsoft's Office website.
It will not finish installation though, it starts running and when it finishes it says

"This 64-bit product may not be installed with Microsoft Office Click-to-Run. Remove Microsoft Office Click-To-Run and try again."

I don't know what this is. What is Microsoft office Click to run, why does it want me to remove it, and how I can finish my Microsoft Office trial installation

PowerPoint for Windows comes in 32-bit and 64-bit editions. You choose which one to install based on your OS version and hardware. Since the 64-bit version can't be installed on your computer, then you should download the 32-bit installer.

Are you Operating on a 32-bit system? Check your computer Properties. Or you might have a previous MS Office version on your computer.

Right Click on Computer in START menu then go down to properties

Check your Programs from your Control Panel to check if you have MS Office

i might propose you to receive OpenOffice. it may examine/write Microsoft workplace archives without concern, is fullyyt unfastened, and relatively relatively comparable visually. lots much less annoying than looking yet another trial version too.
