Error when opening attachments?

Everytime I open an attachment (pps. mpeg,wmv, etc) from my yahoo mail I get this message:
" has detected an error and must close. Any information you have not saves will be lost. Sorry for the inconvenience." Then it prompts me to send or don't send a report.
I have tried upgrading to IE 7, msn explorer, netscape and the results are the same so it's clear that it is not the internet program I use but a process error when opening attachments. Any one knows how to correct this? Thanks!

Which program has deteced the error and needs to close? Is it explorer.exe or iexplore.exe? Besides that it could be the program that opens those files by default. For example try to open a wmv file on your computer thats already there and see if this happens again. If it does its not related to attachments.

I recently had this problem too and Microsoft suggested I update my video driver. It was a bizarre suggestion in my opinion, but I did upgrade the driver and I haven't had this problem since.

even have an analogous. and as i see, style of folk with an analogous concern is increasing in the process the day. nevertheless have not discover answer for this, and there is not any answer from yahoo...
