Go into "File" then "Page Set Up".

Once you're there you can increase the percentage.

Everyone has this problem if you are not an Excel Master.

Here is how you fix this.

Highlight all of the data that you want to print. Click on File>Print, and check the box that says selection. Then click on Preview. You can adjust it from there either by expanding your margins or by clicking on setup.

The reason it is so small is that it is trying to print the entire page, even the blank spaces. By selecting the print range, and hitting selection when you print, you will not have that problem.

Side Note...In the upper left hand side of your screen you will see a drag down. The field looks like a cell designation with a down arrow next to it. Once you select your print range, drag that box down, and type in "Print". From that point on you have "Named" that Range. When you drag that selection down, you will see the word "Print", click on that and it will automatically select your print range as well as your print settings.

This is not real easy to explain, but it is quite simple.

Good luck.....Feel free to email should you have more questions regarding Excel.

I had this problem as well.... u gotta change it to landscape and then print it off. I think this is how you do it:

To get to the print dialogue box you just have to get into the print settings (file, print)

In the Print dialog box, select the options that you want, and then click Print Preview. On the Print Preview tab, in the Print group, click Page Setup. On the Page tab, under Orientation, click Portrait or Landscape. choose LANDSCAPE. Yours is probably on portrait right now.

Hope it helped.

Modifying your Page Setup should help with this problem: 1) File, Page Setup 2) Click 'Sheet' tab 3) In the 'Print' section, select 'Gridlines' You can also get to page Setup from Print Preview

Often this problem is caused because the page set up is set to fit the sheet to 1 page even though the data might be big enough for 2 pages.

Useful for viewing (and changing) your page layout:

go to >View > Page Break Preview

To change the settings to 100% size or landscape to accommodate the size of your sheet:

go to >File > Page Setup

I'm not much of an Excell user, but I think you might have your print area set too large. Under File you will see "print area", select it and select clear. Then select the area you want to print and go to File, "print area" and Set print area. See if that works.
