It depends on the software. I had Norton and tried to install Mcafee too, but it didn't work.

I got rid of Norton.

Than I installed malwarebytes with the Mcafee.

I don't think you can have more than one firewall virus software. But otherwise, yes.

I would actually suggest more than one. I have had Malwarebytes catch stuff through a scan that Mcafee missed.

always install one antivirus in the pc .. as installing or using 2 antivirus in the pc may cause the system to crash or loss of data may happen due to overloading or overscanning of files by the antivirus .. so always use 1 antivirus ..

If you want free version antivirus then go with avast. its the best in freeware antivirus.it has all the options like online web scanner, antispyware. its effective for almost all the virus. has got regular updates.after installing go to avast.com and register there to get registration key for free. also install spybot search and destroy to give more protection to the system.

after installing, update the anti virus, run a full system scan and delete the virus found, restart the pc and there will be no virus in the system..

always install some anti virus so that it protects the system from virus and harmful trojans and all.. and the data will also be safe..

not recommended as they may conflict when scanning the same file. In rare cases because they conflicted while scanning an actual virus, the virus was passed. Other problems would be blue screen error or system instability. Norton and mcaffe are ok. When i mean ok i mean they are the most popular thus the most targeted by viruses to be bypassed. Also, they don't have a transparent web shield. They stop most if not all of the viruses you DOWNLOAD but what about scripts inside your web browser. I had norton and mcaffe but they didn't stop viruses that executed themselves through my browsers. I use AVast. Avast has a web shield. A script is contained within itself until i click on it......eliminiting these hidden scripts from interacting. Also, avast has a network shield........it scans the packets coming into the network card. the Home edition is free and the pro version's only difference is the web shield. Pm me for help;-)

Yes,you can install two antivirus program in your system but I wouldn't do that if i were you cause i had done that Kaspersky and Ashampoo anitvirus.

My System became so slow that at startup my computer freezed and none of the drivers could load up...

And if you looking for a new antivirus

Choose McFee

Trend Micro

I think it's the best

Yes you can install 1 or more antivirus in your PC but 2 or more AV can slow your PC and most of time 2 AV can't run together so it will be best if you install one Av in your PC.

and I suggest AVG is a best and it will comes free on net and it is also a memory saver.

Yes...

if both antivirus allows you to install other one...

but it is recommended that you should install only one...

more than one antivirus can slow down your PC.

some softwares allow ........some don't....... but it is not advisable because it consumes a lot of system resources and slows the system

a good updated anti-virus works well

u can have spyware softwares.....along with antivirus software

You may be able to do that, but don't do it. You will have software counterfeiting and neither of your antivirus may work upto its potential.

I use avast along with the one roadrunner uses> CA and have no problem. Every time I have tried Norton, my system slows down and I get errors.

you can have two or have only one.you may have several or anything you like -------- the main thing is how you configure them.if you make one small blender you are gone if you have more than one anti-virus,one anti-Malware,and one anti-spy ware.if your anti-virus is having a spy ware already, then again you would be cornered by the conflicts they create.tooooo many doctors just murder the patient.

you should have just one in your computer.. i don't think you can have 2 because they would have problems.. and most likely they will ask you to uninstall the other one before installing a new one..
