What's wrong with my VLC Player?

When I try to play a video (MKV File, Soft Subs- Subtitles that can turn on/off, 720P) with VLC player an error or something comes up :[ I reinstalled it multiple times already and VLC Player is suppose to be able to support MKV Files and I can watch some of my MKV Files but I can't watch all of them D: Someone help please! Btw I won't understand computer words so try to keep it simple please! ><

What version are you using? What is your operating system?



Try Uninstalling and deleting the install file.



Get rid of it completely, and start again...you might of just had a bad download package.

"This factor does not even play the video, in simple terms music" This has no longer something to do with VLC, per se. abode windows (and particular your CPU) has equipped-in DRM controls (See under:) that preclude end-customers from making copies of illegally "Pirated" reproduction-risk-free media content cloth". VLC's Transcoding kit in simple terms paintings with movies that are no longer reproduction-risk-free, like ones you create your self.
