it could have been Microsoft Word in an older version, or it might have been Microsoft Works or even Word Pad, but more likely Microsoft Works, which would have been a freebie on PCs.

sounds like you are referring to Cliparts - these are included in most word processor programs. If not, you can import clipart off the internet.
