Hi, I think i can help you !

in a column adjacent to the mailing list..

type a in first row

type b in second row

type c in third row

drag this abc sequence till the 4000 th row

now go to data---->filter---->autofilter

select "c"

now all the c rows are filtered .... (i.e is third row)

select them all

press " alt + ; "

ctrl +c

paste....

the job is over maaaa.........

if u like it...... let me know

Hi, I'm not sure of how much of a shortcut this is but you could use the control key while you click on every third row to select rows that are not consecutive.
