i have already used CCcleaner Tuneup
these folders are in the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT

there are over 30,000 (maybe even 100,000) folders of this type

the program is basically a commercial mapping tool

Cleaner programs don't always delete everything correctly. Hopefully, you deleted the program through the install/uninstall program in the control pane. The files may have been saved into a separate folder that might not be deleted just because the program was removed. If you didn't delete the program through install/uninstall in the control panel, do that. If you did, go to Windows Explorer, find the folders, highlight them, and delete them manually. It may take some time, but nobody wants that many pointless folders on the drive. Hope I helped.

every program after uninstalling stays in the registry. Some files are not removed while uninstalling. For advanced removal you can use Revo Uninstaller. It finds the related registry keys and you can remove it but you have to use it at the same time as the regular uninstall.

Be carefull when editing the registry, because you may mess up your programs and even OS

Reinstall the program and then uninstall with Advanced Uninstaller Pro (it will find the files and registry entries left behind). Don't go deleting registry keys (they're not folders) unless you are absolutely sure what you are doing. Also registry cleaners are no solution.
