Which of the following programs can record streaming audio: Sonar, ACID Pro, or Audacity?
Any other programs that record streaming audio and line in for recording from a tape recorder?

Sonar and Acid Pro are commercial apps but as good a result can be had with Audacity for free.
To record streaming audio or anything playing on the drive select "stereo mix" or "what you hear" (depends on soundcard) from the drop down list at the top right of the program.
To record from the tape player select "line in" from the list.
This applies whether you use a dedicated "line" input or microphone input if you don't have a line in.
The recording level is not automatic. You will need to adjust it yourself for best results. This applies to all recording apps.

Open Nero
There is an Option called Record from tape..
Use it..
Fatafat.
also you can do mixing cropping, karaoke with Nero
If you are using xp you can connect inline and the use sound recorder that comes with xp free. You can use it to record of course in wma i think.

Usually you're motherboard will come with a sound driver, if not go to isohunt and search and download the first audio streamer you see. My motherboard comes with sound driver that i can record it with.
