Using Outlook Express, my sent message remains in the Outbox and continues to send multiple times. Why?
And, how do I fix it? I've tried deleting the file outbox.dbx and have OE create a new one on restart. No help. I have a feeling it has to do with our LAN / Server at work because my PC is completely clean, all updates, no spyware, defragged, etc.

Generally when an email is being sent out multiple times it is because the server acknowledgement of receiving the email is not being receieved by the client. The client, not getting an acknowledgement, will then send the mail again (and again). You probably have a firewall issue of some sort. If this is company email, then contact I.T. dept. If this is a personal account using outside server, then your best bet is to use webmail when you are at work.
