Sounds like you may have the wrong keyboard layout (NOT language settings) selected. PCs sold in Quebec must, by law, have the French keyboard layout available.

In Windows XP:

1.Click the Start->Control Panel menu item.

2.Click Date, Time, Language and Regional Options.

3.Click Add Other Languages.

4.Click the Details button.

5.If the language you want isn’t in the list, use the Add button to add it.

6.Click on a language you want to delete and click the Remove button to get rid of it. Repeat as necessary.

In Windows Vista:

1.Click the Start->Control Panel item.

2.Under Clock, Language and Region, click Change Keyboards or other Input methods.

3.Click the Change Keyboard button.

4.Continue with Step 5, above.

Hope that helps.

there's no way, the only thank you to get a observe suited rfile to a Microsoft observe is to save the 1st one as an Enriched text cloth rfile and then once you visit open it on the Microsoft workplace, that is going to transform immediately and actual.

Do the keys you're pressing have the symbol (accented e, whatever) on the key, printed in a different color (usually yellow or blue)?

If so, then look for another key on your keyboard, maybe named function or something, with its name printed in the same color. Press that and it will turn it off.
