I think it is possible to export an address book, but I have never seen an option to export all my old e-mails & folders to a new computer. Please advise.

You need to copy the .DBX files (that's the Outlook Express email files).
It is in this path
C:\ --> Documents and Settings \ {your profile name} \Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\ {some bunch of numbers} \Microsoft\Outlook Express
In this folder you're going to see a lot's of files with the extension ".dbx".
Just copy these DBX to the other computer in any place and from Outlook Express do an import and choose import from:
Microsoft Outlook Express 4 or 6 (your version) -> Click next and in the window that appears choose the option that says "Import Mail from and OE6 directory" this is a radio button that appears below the box that says Main Identity.
Do a OK and it will ask you to point the location of the messages . Click on the browse button and point it to the location of you're folder where you copied the .dbx files.
Close Outlook Express and open it again, you'll be able to see all the folders now in the Outlook Express :-)

You'll have to create a PST file. Put all your emails to that .pst file and then back up the pst file itself. Then on your new computer attach that pst file to your outlook and all your emails are there.
File - New - Outlook data file or something like that you should see.
Good luck!
