Recently I switched from 7 to Ubuntu linux to try it out and it's too unfamiliar to me for now, so I want to switch back to win 7, but the problem is that when I insert the CD into the drive and boot from restart, the pc doesn't recognize it and just boots to the Ubuntu OS. What should I do? I've tried to press the F buttons during restart to access the load screens but they are unresponsive.

Do you have the cdrom to boot first in from the boot order in the bios menu?

I believe Ubuntu changes the boot priority, so all you have to do is to enter the Bios screen and change the order to be the priority 1 for the CD.

Hope it helps :)

ok just chill

press F12 while booting .Then you will enter in setup mode.

In setup choose your primary booting device as your CD-ROM.

clike save to save changes you made and start booting by inserting OS-CD in CD-rom.

AS simple as that

no the homestead windows records would be fantastic, and you will no longer lose any records, in basic terms ensure you do no longer do something like restart the laptop interior the process a repartition and you'd be fantastic :P
