Click the start menu, go to control panel and then click add/remove programs. In the list you should see Windows Live Essentials. Choose this and it should take you to the program installer, where you can choose which part of Windows Live Essentials to uninstall. If you're using Windows Live Mail, make sure that you back your email up first in case it uninstalls all of Windows Live Essentials programs. It shouldn't, but you can never be too careful!
