Is there a program that keeps track of what I click on, the directories I open, and programs I use? I'd like to be able to log all the keyboard strokes, command, and mouse clicks for a week. Then I'd like to utilize this data to setup keyboard shortcuts and quick launch shortcuts. Any suggestions?

Ghostmouse - free software that records mouse actions in macros. It's incredibly useful for repetitive tasks!

My only suggestion for minimising mouse clicks and movement is to utilise any and every button on your mouse. There is usually a way to configure those extra buttons on some mouses to do what you want, instead of the useless things they are defaulted to. I have one set to Ctrl+Tab (to switch tabs in Firefox!), and one as a shortcut to the Windows On-Screen Keyboard (to avoid turning on my wireless keyboard), and the other two for window maxi-/minimisation (really useful once you get the hang of it!). Good luck!
