How can i convert mpeg to gif on mac?

Question

I've found a bunch of converters and gif animators, but they're ALL for OS9, so they don't work. I just want something that will convert an mpeg straight to a gif animation. If not that, then something I can just load a whole folder of images into that will then make a gif animation. What can I use?!
