Adding certain music changes the view layout of WMP 11 library.?

Question

I have my default library view set to "album" & "icon". The album art is displayed in horizontal rows and adds album art to a row or starts a new row when more are added. On a few occasions adding a new album changed the view (still set to "icon"), displaying albums vertically and by letter (like "detail" view but with album art shown).
If I delete the album from my library, close and re-open WMP, the view returns to my preferred default.
I can sometimes retain this view after right-clicking and using "find album info" but if I close and re-open WMP, the albums are again displayed vertically.
I have compared properties of the newly added files with existing files (all mp3 format) and the only difference is the album/song titles.
I could choose a different display but would like to figure out what causes this annoyance.
