How to convert a .CHM file to PDF?

I have tried using a printing tool like universal doc converter and bullzip but that dosn't work well its a big mess. Also i have tried online converters like Zamzar but it always returns with an error that the file could not be converted. The closest i have got is a pdf file with 800 pages but all the links in the table of contents are not clickable. How can i fix this. I read somewhere about decompiling the CHM file first then converting it or something like that. Anyways thanks in advance.

How about trying a PDF maker which can create PDF from any other printable files?

It can retain the layout and hyperlinks as you want. You may have a try

I found you this in Google:http://www.pdfmaker.biz/

Hope it helps!
