I had to do System Recovery on my computer and to back up my photos, I simply archived them and uploaded that .zip folder to my online sotrage. Then I checked to download the file and I was able to open the photos. Now after System Recovery I tried to put the photos back into my computr so i downloaded the archive from my online storage but now I can't open it... when I use WinRAR, this message comes up:
C:\Users\My User Name\Desktop\Photos.zip: Unexpected end of archive.
later I go into the archive and I see that all the photos are still present it their size is shown but I can't extract them from the archive...i don't have any more copies. Please save my life, those were good memories.. Please help!!!

LOL right as I was about to tell you to do that...

What happened was that the archive was damaged, most likely during downloading, and one or more files was changed (not missing pieces, but changed) and so repairing it and treating it as a ZIP solves the problem.

Here is a good link where you can download winrar for here: http://bit.ly/1BooiXa

You can use winrar to decompress zip files and a bunch of other formats. Other good programs are 7zip and winzip but in my opinion winrar is the best one. Fuctionalities are pretty similar for all programs: basically you can decompress a file simply by right-clicking it and by choosing the destination folder.

Winrar is available for free under a trial licence. The good thing is the trial period never ends so you can use it for free with no limitations.

Winrar opens all formats like .zip, .rar, .7z, .iso, .tar, .jar etc. That's why I recommend it.

WinRAR is a 32-bit Windows version of RAR Archiver, an archiver and archive manager. RAR files can usually compress content by 8 percent to 15 percent more than ZIP files can. WinRAR's main features include strong general and multimedia compression, the ability to process non-RAR archive formats, ZIP compression and decompression, support for long filenames, programmable self-extracting archives (SFX), repair of damaged archives, authenticity verification, embedded file comments, and encryption. Unicode is supported in archive filenames, allowing non-English filenames to be handled painlessly. You can manipulate the parameters of many archives at once and view a volume sequence as a single archive. WinRAR can convert other archive formats to RAR and search for specified text and files in archives.
