ok so im 99.9% sure that i have a virus on my computer because it lags like there is not tomorrow even as a i am typing this, also google chrome crashes a lot and flash drive whatever stops or crashes D'X, also when i watch videos it lags terribly and crashes a bunch and there are so many adds everywere! they even block and cover things up like wen im on youtube the adds will even be inbetween the videos on the right side of the page -.- they are adds like; download flashplayer to watch this video and congratulations u win a prize for being our 1000 visitor even though its an add -.- and stuff like we detected viruses while scanning ur computer download this now! NOW i will get to redirecting pages and automatic downloading......so it doesn't matter what page im on but if i click anywhere on a page at all it automatically opens a new tab saying for example if im on youtube: "youtube trusted offer" or something like that doesn't matter what page im on if im on deviant art it will say " deviant art trusted offer" and then sometimes (doesnt matter were i click) it open a new tab saying youtube (or watever page im on) welcome! you are our 1000 visitor take this survey to get ur prize, when i exit the tab its fine it but this happens very frequently, ugh!! page is lagging out.....then sometimes when i open a page the little norton icon pops up at the bottom right corner of my screen and says blocked an intrusion by fakeav then i see the details and it says the virus is very dangerous, also if im on a page (nothing impaticular) all of a sudden the page just suddenly changes into something called api-downloader and it shows a dowload bar downloading something and it automatically downloads something i quickly cancel the download and i dont really want to find out if its good or bad, most likely bad if it pops up like that, this happens very infrequently. also when i try to run norton security suite virus scan it lags so much and the loading bar just keeps loading and it never scans anything -.- it just says pending, and if i do get the computer scanned there are no viruses just a couple tracking cookies that are removed :( and when i open norton security suite the whole box turns black and only buttons that u can click are the things that dont change, FINALLY *sigh* anyone that is familiar with imvu knows that when u try to earn credits there are options that u have to download something and u will get credits most of those are viruses i stay away from them, but when im on the imvu website lets say browsing the catalog ON THE WEBSITE ONLY it just automatically redirects me to my homepage, cant really do anything on the site wen it does that *sigh*, and last !!!i might know what caused this, ive tried imvu credit generators and hacks i downloaded those and tried the stupid survey to get the password to open the hack and it never works -.- just keeps making u do more and more surveys so basicallyits the never ending survey but they make u give information like fone number and stuff i never gave away any financial information not stuff like that........well i took those off my computer but if anyone has or had this problem, knows wat this is and or knows how to get rid of this mess PLEASE HELP MEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!! and im really sorry for this being a really big description >.< but thank u for those who help me out ;-;.sorry for the spelling :< also it opens a tab sometimes and its inttraxx.com but it nevr fully loads and quibids also pops up automatically sometimes :/ there are other random tabs that say srvy and ect. ect. u get the idea D:

You really want to get rid of the virus?

If running an AV software does not resolve the issue then better reformat your system.

How do I remove a computer virus?

If your computer is infected with a virus, you'll want to remove it as quickly as possible. A fast way to check for viruses is to use an online scanner, such as the Microsoft Safety Scanner. The scanner is a free online service that helps you identify and remove viruses, clean up your hard disk, and generally improve your computer's performance.

If you're not sure whether your computer has a virus, see How can I tell if my computer has a virus? to check for some telltale signs. To try a different online scanner, follow the links to other companies that provide them on the Windows Security software providers webpage.

If you can connect to the Internet

If you can reach a website using your web browser, run an online scan.

To run the Microsoft Safety Scanner

1.

Go to the Microsoft Safety Scanner webpage to download the scanner.

2.

Click Download Now, and then follow the instructions on the screen.

If you can't connect to the Internet

If you can't get to the Microsoft Safety Scanner online, try restarting your computer in safe mode with networking enabled.

To restart in Safe Mode with networking enabled

1.

Restart your computer.

2.

When you see the computer manufacturer's logo, repeatedly press the F8 key until the Advanced Boot Options screen appears.

3.

On the Advanced Boot Options screen, use the arrow keys to highlight Safe Mode with Networking, and then press Enter.

4.

Log on to your computer with a user account that has administrator rights.

5.

Follow the steps above to run the Microsoft Safety Scanner.

For more information about different startup modes, see Start your computer in safe mode.

If you still can't access the Internet after restarting in safe mode, try resetting your Internet Explorer proxy settings. The following steps reset the proxy settings in the Windows‌ registry so that you can access the Internet again.

To reset Internet Explorer proxy settings

1.

In Windows 7, click the Start button Picture of the Start button. In the search box, type run, and then, in the list of results, click Run.

-or-

In Windows Vista, click the Start button Picture of Start button, and then click Run.

-or-

In Windows XP, click Start, and then click Run.

2.

Copy and paste or type the following text in the Open box in the Run dialog box:

reg add "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings" /v ProxyEnable /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f

3.

Click OK.

4.

In Windows 7, click the Start button Picture of the Start button. In the search box, type run, and then, in the list of results, click Run.

-or-

In Windows Vista, click the Start button Picture of Start button, and then click Run.

-or-

In Windows XP, click Start, and then click Run.

5.

Copy and paste or type the following text in the Open box in the Run dialog box:

reg delete "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings" /v ProxyServer /f

6.

Click OK.

Restart Internet Explorer and then follow the steps listed previously to run the scanner.

Remove a virus manually

Sometimes a virus must be removed manually. This can become a technical process that you should only undertake if you have experience with the Windows registry and know how to view and delete system and program files in Windows.

First, identify the virus by name by running your antivirus program. If you don't have an antivirus program or if your program doesn't detect the virus, you might still be able to identify it by looking for clues about how it behaves. Write down the words in any messages it displays or, if you received the virus in email, write down the subject line or name of the file attached to the message. Then search an antivirus vendor's website for references to what you wrote down to try to find the name of the virus and instructions for how to remove it.

Recovery and prevention

After the virus is removed, you might need to reinstall some software or restore lost information. Doing regular backups on your files can help you avoid data loss if your computer becomes infected again. If you haven't kept backups in the past, we recommend that you start now.

I hope this help

The simplest and easy solution is lunch a new boot CD. I think no anti-virus can solve your problem now.
