I'm planning on trying out the program Hotspot Shield (It changes your IP address when you activate it), but I have one question about it: Once I turn it off, do I get my normal IP address back? Thanks in advance!

Here's the link if you need it: http://hotspotshield.com/

They will monitor your activities regardless of weather you are logged in or not. They capture everything you do, save it to a database and sell the information to companies willing to pay for it. That is why it's free. They make their money by selling your personal info. When you try to uninstall it it only uninstalls part of it and the rest stays on your computer. Please stay away from this program.

properly, your ISP distributes IP addresses promptly utilising a DHCP server. maximum routers don't have an option to set a static IP yet because of the fact that yours does then sure, you could set it, offering that's interior the IP address selection owned by utilising your ISP and used on the subnet on your section... even nevertheless... each and every IP address on a community must be unique. in case you placed your IP address to an address already assigned to a distinctive person by utilising DHCP then there'll be 2 interfaces with the comparable address. This motives routing loops, and information will tremendously much actual be lost as a chain of packets may well be partly sent to 2 distinctive hosts. The community will in simple terms get congested and sluggish with floods of routing incorrect routing updates devour each and every of the bandwidth. Routing and ARP tables would be incorrect and the two hosts would be no longer able to effectively use the internet. that's ideal to in easy terms circulate away it as dynamic.
