Question:
How do I find a driver for a Canon MF 5550?
2007-11-18 17:17:18 UTC
I just downloaded the software last week from the Canon website. I was erasing a bunch of things that seemed unnecessary because I am being bombarded with popups. Apparently I've erased the drivers, silly me, now when I go to the Canon website, a mere two weeks later, it says, there are no downloads for this product. RATS!!! I've looked everywhere for a download to this, I've downloaded programs to recover what I erased, that didn't work, I downloaded download detective, that didn't help. I have a fully functioning printer sitting right in front of me that I need desperately. Any ideas??

I guess the last guy did not bother reading the big red letters that said downloads not available.

The drivers are available on Driversguide.com

You will have to join to download, but the joining is free.

Here is the link I found to the full setup program.

http://members.driverguide.com/driver/detail.php?driverid=332127

Once you join you should be able to download the file.

Or try clicking on this link, and it just might download without joining.

Scroll down and double click on the link listed under file name.

Try www.driveragent.com. You have to pay for the service but it should get you what you need.
