I cannot ajust my screen resolution, i just installed window's 7.?

Okay here's the problem my screen resolution is stuck on 640x480 and if i cannot the normal way, i have to go into advanced settings and change list modes to put it on 1024x768 but the colors aren't 16bit there 254. And i want it 16 bit. Here are my sytem specs straight from direct x diagnostic tool. I am using a Dell dimension 3000, 2005

You need to install the correct graphics card driver for your card. You need the graphics card driver for an intel 865G intergrated graphics card. see below for the link to download it. Its XP driver that works with windows 7.

Click on Bottom left and select control panel and then chose appearance and personalization and go from there.
