It happens whenever I try to open a PDF file, and sometimes for no reason at all. Does anybody know why...and how can I fix it? Should I re-install Firefox maybe?

Keep in mind I'm basically a computer moron LOL

It could possibly be something to do with a particular website. Bear in mind that most websites are optimised for Internet Explorer, and they tend to forget about the sensible people who choose to dump the evil IE and use the far superior Firefox.

I've been using Firefox for a year now and had very few problems with it, but I have encountered a few websites that won't work or display correctly. I then open the same site in IE and it works perfectly, so you could try that. If the site works fine in IE, then you'll have your answer - that particular website is only designed to work in IE.

For the random crashes, have you updated Firefox recently? Firefox 3 recently came out, and I think it's now up to 3.2. However, when I was on Firefox 2, I had to perform a manual update to upgrade to version 3. It has been a lot more stable since then. I experienced a lot more crashes in version 2, which was still not a lot in comparison to IE's performance.

To upgrade to the latest version, visit the Mozilla website. It's very simple to download the latest version from there:

Reinstall Firefox from their internet site. do not deploy any upload-ons or plug-ins. a number of them reason crashes by way of conflicting with different apps on your pc) My own fashionable is Opera. i like the tabbed surfing and the "rapid dial" function. Opera additionally saves my log-in ideas for particularly some websites. Opera additionally has a solid geared up-in e mail shopper. On my pc Opera is as rapid and greater sturdy than different browsers. I rather have put in and uninstalled Chrome thrice. It stored crashing. Seamonkey is a reasonably solid browser; additionally Flock is yet another solid browser. It has a solid tie-in with social networking websites (while you're into that). each and every browser I rather have used will crash now and lower back and an uninstall and reinstall normally fixes that. wish this enables, Al
