Need DOS Shell?

I need a DOS Shell, as I am building a computer and do not have an OS up. Is there any place to obtain this? Note, I would rather not use an emulator like dos box, as I doubt that would even work

If you have a floppy drive, go to bootdisk.com and create yourself a bootdisk. That will give you a "DOS" prompt.

Sure. Any O/S up to and including Win98/SE makes an emergency disk that will boot a computer into DOS. These all fit on one standard floppy. If you don't have one, I am sure someone you know does. Either make a startup disk, or do a format /s command. That adds the boot files to the disk.
